Branding is something that one’s business needs to break through and grab their favorable customer’s attention. It’s what converts first-time buyers into lifetime customers and turns an indifferent audience. It’s what one needs to stand out and make an impact and take a business to the next level. Branding is crucial because not only it makes a memorable impression on clients but also allows customers and clients to know what to expect from the company. It is a way of differentiating yourself from competitors. The Brand is built to be a true indication of who you are as a business, and how you wish to be recognized. Have you ever seen a successful company without branding? The answer is a big “no”.

Branding is the process of giving a name or a sign or symbol to a product. It helps companies to build trust and credibility. People are more prone to purchase goods and services (or brands) from companies they know and trust. This gives companies a competitive advantage against their competition. Keeping brands in the minds of consumers means a massive bottom chain.

There are some terms related to branding. Let’s have some light on these terms.

1)brand name that part of a brand which can be spoken
2)brand mark that part of a brand which can be recognised only but cannot be spoken.
3)Trademark- a brand or part of a brand that is given legal protection against. It is used by other forms. Branding helps both marketers and customers as it enables making product differentiation, ease in the introduction of a new product, differential pricing, helps in advertising and display programs. Buyers are going to stay faithful to brands they know and trust—and with whom they already have a relationship—they’re more likely to pay when new products are released, even if they’re more costly, and also helps the customers in product identification, status symbol and also ensures the quality of the product.
